Makayla is currently studying to broaden her education in hair loss solutions and getting to the root cause of underlying scalp conditions where even better services will be available in the future. She is committed to clean beauty, treating the hair and scalp from a whole body perspective, and identifying find the root problem to scalp and hair concerns that no one seems to have the answers for.
What is a Scalp Facial?
The scalp facial is a facial for your hair and scalp that helps keep the scalp micro biome in optimal condition. It keeps the follicles from being clogged, eliminates dead skin cells, and increases the blood flow in the scalp to promote healthy growth. The health of the scalp is such an overlooked but necessary piece of the beauty industry and true hair health. The scalp tells us so much when it comes to people experiencing hair loss or thinning, scalp skin conditions, and can even be an indicator that something is going on internally. I use a multitude of shampoos, scrubs, and oils/treatments, and conditioners combined with oxygen, steam, and red light therapy to treat the hair and scalp. As well as using massage manipulations to release tension that we hold in our scalp, head, and neck and increase blood flow for optimal growth promotion.
